We know it’s that time of year and we’ve start dressing like it’s really fall outside. To help transition from the warmer climates of fall to the cooler fall weather, I’ve put together some outfits from one of my absolute faves. If you don’t know, please consider yourself now on notice that I am obsessed with Target. To hear all about it, head over to my YouTube channel and watch my Pre-Fall Outfit Ideas from Target video I recently posted.
Back to these outfit ideas. Target has always had fashions, but recently they’ve really stepped things up. The Who What Wear line and the newly added Prologue line are both ones I think you should definitely check out. You can stay on budget like I talked about in the Budget Cool Weather Essentials post, without breaking the bank post. The best part about it isn’t the savings. The best part is that you will look great in the items Target is now offering.
The coordinate sets are my go-to’s because you can get so much wear out of the pieces by pairing the top and bottom separately. Target did not let me down in this department. Two of the three looks I picked up are coordinated sets. I chose a yellow floral print tiered skirt with a matching top from the Who What Wear line. From the newly introduced Prologue line I went with a beautiful copper colored 2 piece skirt and matching top. The Wild Fable jeans with zipper detail caught my eye and I paired that with a plaid, structured blazer that’s a part of a set from the Prologue line.
The yellow and black flowered set is great because you can easily layer the top over a black turtle neck and throw on a pair of boots and be set for the cold weather. The jeans and blazer are both also easily transitioned from cool to cold climates. Adding a t-shirt with the blazer will keep you covered but not too stuffy, while adding a chunky sweater with the blazer will make it cozy enough for lower temperatures. The copper coord set can be warmed up much the same way as the floral set. Grab a shirt to layer under the top and add a slouchy boot and you’re good to go!
